Drake Nugent (born c. 2001) is an American football center for Michigan. A native of Colorado, he played college football for Stanford in 2022 and entered the NCAA transfer portal after the 2022 season.
Early years
Nugent was born in Lone Tree, Colorado, and attended Highlands Ranch High School. He played high school football on both offense and defense and was selected as an All-Colorado player in 2017 and 2018.[1]
College football
Stanford
Nugent played college football for Stanford from 2019 to 2022. He started 24 consecutive games at center for the 2021 and 2022 Stanford Cardinal football teams. He was also selected tices as Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll player in 2021 and 2022.[1]
Michigan
After the 2022 season, Nugent entered the NCAA transfer portal and accepted an offer from the University of Michigan. He is the starting center for the 2023 Michigan Wolverines football team.[2][3]
