Poppa's House is an upcoming American TV sitcom that is scheduled to premiere in the 2024–25 season on CBS. The series stars Damon Wayans as Poppa, Damon Wayans Jr. as Damon, Essence Atkins as Ivy, and Tetona Jackson as Nina. The series was created by Damon Wayans and Kevin Hench.

Production
Development
Poppa's House was announced on October 10, 2022.[1] The pilot for Poppa's House was ordered on February 8, 2023. The pilot was written by Damon Wayans & Kevin Hench, and it was directed by Andy Ackerman. Production companies involved with Poppa's House include Wayans Bros. Productions, Two Shakes Entertainment, Hench in the Trench Productions, and CBS Studios.[2] Poppa's House was given a series order on May 9, 2023.[3]
Poppa's House has been moved to the 2024–25 season due to strike-related production delays.[4]
Casting
Damon Wayans was cast as Poppa, Damon Wayans Jr. was cast as Damon, Essence Atkins was cast as Ivy, and Tetona Jackson was cast as Nina.
Filming
The sitcom was taped in front of a live studio audience.
Broadcast and streaming
Poppa's House is scheduled to premiere in the 2024–25 season on CBS. The series will be available to stream on Paramount+.
