Mannahouse Christian Academy was founded in 1974 as Temple Christian Schools, a vision of Bible Temple Church (later Mannahouse), enrolling 105 students in grades 1-9. The main reason for establishing this school was the need for students to receive quality academics in a godly environment. The school then grew to over 600 students, offering PreK-12 education across four different campuses. The Portland Rocky Butte Campus serves as the main campus, providing education from PreK to 12th grade. Vancouver boasts two campuses, one for Kindergarten-8th grade and another for Preschool. When students graduate from Middle School in Vancouver, they have the option of enrolling in Portland's High School, with buses provided for transportation. Eugene features a High School and Preschool on its campus. The institution was later renamed City Christian Schools and eventually Mannahouse Christian Academy. Mannahouse's vision extends beyond educating the mind to building the spirit.
