Jiří Hamza (born 8 July 2005) is a Czech footballer who currently plays as a centre back for FC Zbrojovka Brno. He is a member of the Czech Republic U-18 team. In August 2023 he was nominated for the Czech Republic U-19 team.[1]

Club career

FC Zbrojovka Brno

In February 2023, he signed a professional contract in Zbrojovka Brno.[2] In July 2023, he was included in the pre-season preparation of the first team.[3] He made his professional debut for Zbrojovka Brno in the away match against Sigma Olomouc "B" on 30 July 2023, which ended in a win 2:1.[4]

Personal life

His father, Jiří Hamza, is the president of the Czech Biathlon Association.[5]
