Usha S. Kakade is an Indian Social activist and the founder and president of Gravittus Foundation, an organization works for underprivileged children and women in Maharashtra state.[1][2][3]

Usha is an advisory board member of Service Learning Center of Symbiosis and a life member of Pune International Centre.[4] She is the former Vice-Chairperson of National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development, New Delhi.[5]

Philanthropy

Being a social entrepreneur and founder of an NGO Usha has worked to support women empowerment and underprivileged children.[6][7][8]

In 2019, Usha Kakade and "Gravittus Foundation" launched a book 'Gravittus Ratna' written by Megha Shimpi and Parag Potdar.[9][10][11] Each year, Usha and her organization organizes 'URJA Awards' ceremony.[12][13][14]
