The Wailers, (not to be confused with Bob Marley and the Wailers), were a Jamaican reggae group from 1963 to 1973. It was from then on to 1981 that they were known as Bob Marley and the Wailers after Chris Blackwell had them change their name. Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer left the band because of this.
