2008-2010: Career beginnings

Nat Christian began writing rhymes in 2008. In that same year, he attended Minory Seminory of Zaza and started singing in a school choir. In November, he appeared on "Soirée Culturelle" show, performed his freestyle "Par hasard/by chance" and claimed it was the first Hip Hop freestyle performed at the show ever.

Around this time, he wrote a couple of tracks but a lot of them may never have even been recorded.

On December 9, 2010, Nat made his last live performance at the "Soirée Culturelle" show which included other performances from B Pac Rugamba, Dj Marnaud and his fellow friend Hervé Dunk.

2011-2013: Orphanage and record production

During this time, he suffered in silence. "Orphanage and poverty made me feel like my voice can't be heard". He stopped writing rhymes. Moved from Minor Seminory of Zaza to Apapen high school, He became friends with fellow orphans & Hip Hop lovers Mento also known as Hit ēm up, No Love (Ibrahim) and James aka Khalifa, a best basketball prayer and (rapper) whom they later engaged in a friendly rap cypher. Rebirth requires time and effort and after coming out of depression, Nat started laptop recordings and mixing skills and ended up being the Dj at his school.

In 2012, with the help of Rutamu Elie Joe (sports journalist), Nat Christian joined Dark Matter Entertainment (DME) a Kigali based Hip Hop collective which consisted of Darkecy, Mike, Kayihura, Angel Mutoni and Dany Beats. He recorded his first studio song "Itangiriro" but sadly it didn't come out.

2014: Nat Gang Entertainment

Moved to Kampala and going back to Kigali (Gatsata), Nat and his Gst neighbors created a musical freestyle and it took over the Gst's streets than people recognized it. He recorded unmastered singles featuring hip hop undergrounds Mento, B-kere, Yoggy B, RéBo, Pazzo and Wiz John (sentenced to 3 years in prison until 2020).

Sometime in 2014,

Nyarugenge Gtg, kn7Ave streets, Nat formed his own independent label, Nat Gang Entertainment. He released "Hogato freestyle" under 2 minutes ,a disturbing horrorcore that he unpublished himself from his Youtube channel 3 months later.

2015: A Day In The Life of an Orphan (formerly "For God only")

In 2015, he started working on his debut mixtape "For God Only" renamed after to "A Day In The Life of an Orphan". He released singles: Miraculous, Holla thugs, Bakeka ko nabanze and Iterambere freestyle from the EP. He later released "Money so bad" ft Bishop Matare & Morgan and Ikinyarwanda (a song) that he wrote in full Kinyarwanda. The EP was known for its internet interactions.

On January 12, 2016, Nat released "Wabyunva" an explicit version of Wabyumva, title track for his debut album.

On July 13, 2016, Nat and Bishop Matare went to Butare and recorded "Izahita" the second song on the album. Ruti (who produced it) claimed Natkristyan to be far away better than any other upcoming Hip Hop artists for his lyrical and style skills.

On October 1, 2016 (PGGSS winner Urban Boys's producer) Holy Beat met Natkristyan and planned to re-release wabyumva song. They re-recorded it and 3 weeks later the video was released. Sometimes in 2017, Holy Beat's wabyumva audio version and it's video (directed by Gene Montage) were rejected by Nat due to poor quality.

On October 19, 2016, Nat collaborated with fellow Rwandan rappers Bac-T and Young Grace and Burundian rapper Mkombozi on "Araceka remix" by King Phylosophe.

In November 2016, Fire Flame was created. A rwandan Hip Hop crew consisted of Candy Moon Supplier (Emperial Mafia Land member with P-Fla), Nat Christian, King Phylosophe, El Papito and Holy Beat. It was launched at Discovery Bar & Resto. in Nyamirambo (Rwanda) and the members mentioned above performed Fire Flame title track all together. The show included guests appearances from other Hip Hop artists like P-Fla, Young Grace and performances from rnb singer Ganza and others. The Fire Flame crew didn't last longer due to misunderstandings between Holy Beat producer and El Picaso Pheno meno known as El Papito a fellow underground hip hop artist from NY (Nyarugenge).

On February 8,2017, Tears on eyes was released by King Phylosophe, Natkristyan and Holy Beat.

The hustle continues.. and on February 23, 2018, he released "Ndanze" produced by KiLex.

For the love of the game, hiphop, he was a host on Radio Safi's show "Hip Hop Ipande" aimed at promoting real Rwandan Hip Hop emcees.

In April 2018, He dropped himself because of the dispute. On April 26, 2018, he released "Pain" featuring hip hop artist and school mate Shingiro produced by S4Dm records. Nat is still working hard on his debut album titled Wabyumva on which he has already released a couple of tracks like Pain, Ndanze and many more to be coming very soon, including Va kubyo bakubeshya etc.. It's S4Dm (Tide) V-records production.
