At Wikipedia SWASTHA, our mission is twofold: to enrich the wealth of health-related information available in Indian languages on Wikipedia, and to cultivate a vibrant community of individuals passionate about improving healthcare accessibility and understanding. In a diverse and multilingual country like India, access to reliable health information in local languages is paramount. Yet, there remains a significant gap in the availability of comprehensive health resources across various Indian languages on platforms like Wikipedia. Our organization is committed to bridging this gap by expanding and enhancing articles related to healthcare, wellness, and medical sciences in Indian languages on Wikipedia. Our mission extends beyond mere content creation. We believe in the power of community-driven initiatives to effect lasting change. That's why we are dedicated to building a strong and inclusive community of volunteers, experts, and enthusiasts from across India and around the world who share our passion for promoting health literacy and empowerment.
