{{AFC comment|1=Response: I moved the inline citations, and I used her last name throughout instead of first to add to the formality element. I took away 2 of the quotes to try to avoid overquoting. There are only 2 in there now and they seem unique and relevant. I haven't cited anywhere close to everything she's written. There are tons of things not on the list. I was just trying to give a list long and varied enough to get a sense of her work and try to make the case for her notability. Also, since I am a reasonably new editor to wikipedia, I just used her husband's page as a semi-template: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josh_Gondelman He has many publications listed (so I did the same for her) and his personal life section mentions their pug (which is mentioned in a number of articles about them as well, so it seems like potentially a relevant piece of the section on her personal life), but it someone needs to remove it, so be it. Maris Kreizman is an essayist and critic with a bi-weekly column at Lit Hub.[1] whose work has appeared in The Wall Street Journal,[2][3] The New York Times,[4] The LA Times,[5] Vulture,[6] Vanity Fair,[7] BuzzFeed,[8] Esquire,[9] GQ,[10] and more.

She's also the author of the Book Slaughterhouse 90210.[11][12]

Career

Kreizman was listed as one of the Publishers Weekly Notables of the Year,[13] and was profiled in Refinery 29 after "landing her dream job."[14] The Observer then followed a day in her life.[15]

Maris started a nationwide Book of the Month club to promote diversity in reading. The LA Times profiled her book club, saying, "It's not your grandma's book of the month club."[16] Amy Poehler's Smart Girls talked about Kreizman's contribution, through her book club, to Women's History Month.[17]

Poets & Writers magazine called Kreizman one the funniest voices on Twitter,[18] and Refinery29 said she's changing the literary landscape.[19] Vogue called her and her husband, Josh Gondelman the "George and Amal of the Twitter-Lit World[20]."

Personal Life

Kreizman is an alum of the University of Pennsylvania.[21] She lives in Brooklyn[22] with her husband Josh Gondelman[23] and their pug Bizzy.[24]
