Charlie Eppes is the main character in the television show NUMB3RS. He is a mathematician and helps his brother Don on many of his perplexing FBI cases and professor of mathematics at the Southern California technical university. Charlie is wary of people, and he is frequently enthralled with objects. According to Charlies father, Alan Eppes, he could mutliply four digit numbers together at age 4. He then required special teachers by age 6. He doesn't believe in guns, however, in the episode Sniper Zero, he learns how to shoot in order to learn more about snipers and to more accurately account for variables such as sweat or adrenaline.
