Stuart Brian Grimes (born April 4, 1974) - Scottish rugby player. Lock. "Grimesey" ,aka "Lord" or "Stu-Pot" or "Big Stu", or "The Knuckle" hails originally from Aberdeen, as does Chris Cusiter and Keith Grimes. He scored a try for Scotland against Japan in the Rugby World Cup, 2003. He plays professional rugby for Borders Reivers. Stuart's previous clubs include Newcastle Falcons, Caledonian Reds, Watsonians, Edinburgh University and Robert Gordon's College. Stuart is married to Trish a GP.

Stuart is the second eldest of six sons (Keith, Andrew, Alistair, Graeme and Dougal).

Triva

  • He became an uncle on Friday, 26th January, 2007 when his brother Andrew (a speed metal afficionado) became a faither.
  • He has a Bsc in Economics from University of Edinburgh
