Boomtown Casino New Orleans is a riverboat casino located on the westbank of Jefferson Parish in Harvey, Louisiana at 4132 Peters Road, Harvey, Louisiana 70058-1805. It is on a 54 acre site. Boomtown is owned by Pinnacle Entertainment.

Boomtown is the largest riverboat casino in south Louisiana. It has over 1,500 slots and video poker games, over 50 table games, and is open 24 hours a day.

Dining

Boomtown has 4 different restaurants including the Bayou Market Express, the Bayou Market Buffet, and Pier 4.

Boomers Nightclub

Boomers offers entertainment including concerts by local New Orleans bands such as The Chee-Weez. There is a dress code and patrons must be at least 21 years old to gain entry. Some shows are free.

The Family Fun Center

The Family Fun Center is an arcade which also does birthday parties.

Expansion

In December 2006, board of directors for Pinnacle Entertainment, Inc. approved a major expansion for the Boomtown Casino. It is expected to cost $145 million dollars. The expansion is planned to include "a 200-guestroom, four-star hotel; a pool area, spa and salon; an expansion of the existing Boomers nightclub; an Asian restaurant; additional meeting space; a new employee dining area; and a refurbishment and expansion of the existing buffet.[1]. The expansion is suppose to start during the first quarter of 2007 and be finish during the second quarter of 2008.
