Viper geckos are a small species of lizard with hatchlings measuring one inch and adults measuring three and a half inches. They have a light-brown and grey base with darker lines running down the body. A cream colour overlaps some of the markings giving the viper gecko excellent camoflague. They have large eyes to help them see in the dark which is helpful since they are an endangered species. Another name is the Carrot-Tailed Viper Gecko due to the shape of the gecko's tail. Viper geckos are found in a small area of Southern Pakistan where they hide under rocks during the day until the temperature cools down.
