Superman: Speeding Bullets is an is a DC Comics Elseworlds special published in 1993. Written by J.M. DeMatteis and featuring the artwork of Eduardo Barreto.

The story is based on the concept of an amalgamation between Superman and Batman: what if Batman had Superman's powers?

Characters

  • Dr. Thomas Wayne: after discovering Baby Kal-El's spaceship in a smoldering crater, he and his wife decide to adopt the baby. While Martha does most of the educating herself, he fills his journals with theories of where his son came from.
  • Martha Wayne: Having no children of her own, she adopts baby Kal-El as her own and although she cultivates his heart, she also indulges him. if not for her husband, he might have become the most spoiled child on earth.
  • Alfred Pennyworth: The Wayne Family's butler, Bruce's trusted advisor and friend.
