"S.O.S"
Song

"SOS" is a song by American pop/rock band, Jonas Brothers. Written by Nick Jonas, a member of the band, the song was released as the band's second single from their self-titled second album in 2007.

Song information

The song is about their troubled relationships with their girlfriends.

Nick said he wrote this song in a span of only ten minutes after having experiencing a certain situation with a girl. Upon release, the song managed to get positive reviews and feedback. According to Radio Disney's Music Mailbag, a program in which listeners get to rate the song, the song managed to get a 98% approval rating.

Chart performance

In August 2007, "SOS" debuted at #65 on the Billboard Hot 100.[1] By doing this, it became their third charting single in their entire career.

The single peaked at #1 on the iTunes on August 192007 Top 100 Chart, and #1 on the iTunes Top 100 Pop Chart, replacing Sean Kingston's Beautiful Girls after almost a month at the top spot on the chart.

Music video

The video was filmed on the ship "Queen Mary" located in Long Beach, Southern California. It premiered in late July on the Disney Channel and features a cameo by Moises Arias, who is an actor from the Disney Channel television series Hannah Montana.

The video opens with Nick, supposedly on a date, waiting for a his girlfriend at a dining table. She finally gets there but manages to bring her obnoxious friends with her. Seeing that his date is ruined, he leaves the girl and her friends at the dining table. The scenes are intercut with the band performing in front of the crowd, with Kevin getting dumped by his girlfirend via text message, and Joe getting dissed by a girl who decides to go out with Moises Arias, instead of him. At the end of the video, three girls walk past them, and they run after them.
