"This is a User Page" code

I've currently got 2 copies of the standard "This is a User Page" code on my, er, UserPage. However, if you look at the code for the two of 'em, the top one is significantly more obfuscated than the bottom one. Ignoring the rounded corners on the bottom one (which I learned how to do from your UP, thanks!), what's the real difference between the two? Why use HTML entities like '&#107;&#105;' to display 'Wi' with all the HTML comments and meaningless <span> tags interspersed between 'em? I don't quite get it... --MikeVitale 14:35, 25 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wiki-fying

Thanks for "wiki-fying" my article. I'm new, and will adhere to the site's policies in the future best I can. thanks for helping me put my article into the proper format. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bwaymogul (talkcontribs)

You're most welcome, Bway! Honestly I didn't want to see that article get deleted, and it was tagged due to the copyright issues, so I felt it would be better to re-write it, there were a ton of reference sources out there, so it really wasn't that hard. I hope those links I gave you will help you in the future, and don't forget to always sign comments you leave on talk pages using four tildes (~) after your comment! Thanks again, let me know if I can do anything else for you, ArielGold 16:58, 25 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
