Biography
Solstice is doom metal band from England, founded by Richard Walker after breaking up of his previous crust punk band Sore Throat. Together with the likes as Candlemass and Solitude Aeturnus, Solstice is one of the most important bands who expanded the epic side of traditional doom metal, credited by their classic two albums: Lamentations and The New Dark Age.
Richard Walker also runs The Miskatonic Foundation, a record label dedicated for doom and classic heavy metal.
