Righteous Kill is an upcoming suspense film that will star Al Pacino, Robert De Niro[1], Donnie Wahlberg and Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, who will play a drug dealer.[2] It will be directed by Jon Avnet.[3] The film is being written by Russell Gewirtz who previously scripted Inside Man and will be produced by Randall Emmett and Avi Lerner.[1] The plot will revolve around police investigators hunting a serial killer, with the early twist being (from the first scene) that one of them is the killer in question.[1] Righteous Kill will have a budget of $60 million and be an independent production put together by Nu Image's Millennium Films and Emmett/Furla Films. [3] Pacino and De Niro will appear onscreen together in the same film for only the second time.[3] The film is set to begin shooting August 2007 in New York and Bridgeport, Connecticut.[3]

Family Room Entertainment, stock ticker (FMLY) , is associated with the production of this film.[3] Bernie Mack stand-in and acting newcomer Eric “1G” Garner of Las Vegas is also set to play a supporting role in this film.
