Horizons is the second album by Australian metalcore band Parkway Drive, to be released on October 6.
Once again produced by Killswitch Engage guitarist and renowned metal producer Adam Dutkiewicz (Underoath, Killswitch Engage, As I Lay Dying, Unearth) and recorded at Zing Studios in Massachusetts, Horizons awakens the inner beast with an enthralling avalanche of sound from breakneck precise guitar riffs and palpitating blast beats to haunting demonic vocals. Horizons' brutal mix of metal and hardcore excels with a collection of songs which are enough to have anyone running for the pit. The entire CD was leaked onto file-sharing networks on August 28 2007.
Recent Interviews
"Horizons marks two years of refinement since our last release. The songs, the sounds, the speed, the heaviness and the production has all been stepped up," says vocalist Winston McCall. "Working with Adam again made our job super easy as well as highly enjoyable. I think the end result is by far the best record we've made so far, but I guess that's always for others to judge."
