:I wouldn't worry too much about the little lines on the palace - they were supposed to represent 'banking' but we can live without it. Generally I will reply on your talk page, as opposed to my talk page.

Zhou Tong image

I am the author of the Zhou Tong article and would like to thank you for some of the work you have done to improving the page's lead image. I have recently fiddled with the pic on the old windows paint program and drew in a face that looks pretty good. Please see my comments here. Thanks. --Ghostexorcist 23:52, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The svg seems to be coming along nicely. I saw that you said you couldn't see the last image that I posted. Here is a side-by-side comparison of that image and the newest svg. I have connected the side burn to the beard, directed his eyes at the viewer, and softened his expression a little. Tell me what you think. Keep up the good work! --Ghostexorcist 21:21, 11 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I installed inkscape on my computer. How would you import the Zhou Tong image into the program? --Ghostexorcist 10:22, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. That worked. Now I have to figure out how to use the damn thing. I may have to read a tutorial or two before I get the hang of it. I’m pretty good with the old windows paint program. I drew this for my nephew a few years ago. It’s not my best work, but it shows what you can do with lots of boredom and a strong mouse hand. (The original image is actually a lot larger, but I had to scale it down with irfanview to put it in my Myspace pics.) I just hope I can become as proficient with inkscape. --Ghostexorcist 10:49, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I recently made some changes to the face on Image:Zhou Tong GR.svg, but it is not rendering. The changes are only visible when you click on it. This is similar to when the image was first created. I hope that something can be done to fix the problem. --Ghostexorcist 00:01, 26 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the help. I didn't realize the blur would muck up the picture. The blur only looks good when the picture is enlarged. Crisp lines are easier to see when it is actual size. I won't attempt to switch it to png format.
The reason I edited the face is because another user recently made some changes of their own. They moved the mustache down in order to "give him a cheek", but it looked funny. No one's mustache is the equivalent of an inch below their nose and their mouth is not where their bottom lip should be.
I hope the rationale I made for the mantis photo will appease hardcore fair use people. --Ghostexorcist 09:51, 26 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Question

Could you please take a look at the question I posted on the graphic lab's talk page? Thanks. --Ghostexorcist 21:05, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
