The Courtyard Shopping Centre is located on Lower Main Street Letterkenny, County Donegal, Ireland. The Centre opened on the October 21 1993 and became the heart of shopping in Letterkenny. Coronation Street star Kevin Kennedy officially opened the centre. The Shopping Centre has 40 outlets with the anchor tenants being Costcutter Supermarket, Eason, and Heatons. There is also a multi-storey car park in the Centre. The Shopping Centre provides toilets, a baby changing room, lift and escalators.

The Courtyard Shopping Centre

Visitors to the centre have decreased in recent years with the opening of the Letterkenny Retail Park on the opposite side of the town. The Centre is a popular gathering place for the local students of St. Eunan's College and Loreto Convent during their lunchbreak.

Expansion

Paul Reynolds & Company Ltd. applied for planning permission to build another floor of retail space at the centre in mid 2007. The application was approved and will result in an extra 10500 square foot retail area.
