Long Dong Silver, (born Daniel Arthur Mead in 1960), is a black Bermudian ex-porn star who appeared in several pornographic movies in the early to mid 1980s. Mead was famed for the length of his penis (reputedly 18 inches). However, it soon came to light within the porn industry that, he was actually wearing an artificial penis-like sheath. ^{[citation needed]}. After posing in a few gay porn magazines in the twilight years of his career, Mead retired from the world of porn in 1987. Occasionally Mead (Long dong Silver) has been confused with another black porn star, John Cook, this is due to the fact that Cook was known by the similar stage name of King Dong.
