The Michigan United States Senate election of 2008 will be held on November 4, 2008. Incumbent Democrat Carl Levin has announced he will seek re-election. Levin is the head of the powerful Senate Armed Services Committee. Former first lady of Michigan Michelle Engler and Levin's 2002 opponent Andrew Raczkowski are considering running on the Republican side. Levin is expected to easily win re-election.
