After successfully kicking a 42-yard field goal to put the Arizona Cardinals 3-0 in the first half of a regular season game, kicker Bill Gramatica jumped up in wild celebration, came down, and tore his ACL. Gramatica missed the rest of the season. He played one game for the Miami Dolphins in 2004. In 2006, he returned to football as the kicker for the Tampa Bay Storm of the Arena Football League.

Bill Gramatica is the younger brother of fellow kicker Martin Gramatica and the older brother of kicker Santiago Gramatica. He played college football at the University of South Florida.
Bill is an avid tennis player and though he kicks left footed, he plays tennis right handed. Bill also graduated highschool in the small town of LaBelle FL,as did his two brothers.
