Michael Taliferro (August 23, 1961 – May 4, 2006) was an American film and television actor, he was also an Professional football player, and a singer.
Biography
Early life
Taliferro was born in Fort Worth, Texas; the son of an African American father and an Afro-Caribbean mother. His first film appearance was in the film Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit in 1993 playing the role of an 'security guard', he had also made appearances in films like Armageddon, Life which starred Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence, and Half Past Dead; in 2006, he had completed his appearance Crime/Drama film A Day in the Life, later he had died of an stroke in May. Taliferro also directed a film called Steppin: The Movie which was completed in 2007. Taliferro was also known as Bear Taliferro and Michael 'Bear' Taliferro. Bear was known for doing roles in films like Bad Boys, Life, Half Past Dead, Ride or Die and Blue Hill Avenue.

Taliferro married Cathey L. Tyree, together they had 3 children, he also had 2 sisters and a brother. According to his website, Taliferro had an grandson.

Death
Taliferro died on May 4, 2006, in Los Angeles, California at the age of 45, according to the Internet Movie Database, Taliferro suffered a stroke. He was buried at Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery, his whole family had attended his funeral.
