Hillel Neuer is the executive director of UN Watch, based in Geneva, Switzerland. He is most widely recognized for a firebrand speech given before the United Nations Human Rights Council in which he dismissed the council's findings against Israel as being anti-semitic. [1]

Arrest

On November 2, 2007, Neuer was arrested outside a pizzeria in Needham, Massachusetts following a tense, hour-long standoff with police. Pizzeria employees and customers said that Neuer had been acting strangely and some customers reported seeing him with a gun, although no weapon was ever found. Neuer was subsquently charged with disorderly conduct. [2]
