Theisles, you asked in the edit log of the article for me to address you with NPOV and relevance for my edits before making any edits to information related to Mr. Howe's claims. I have done so here, on my talk page, and on the article's discussion page. Not agreeing with my points is your right, but constantly claiming that my edits (which are equal in merit to yours) violate NPOV and are not relevant is not in the spirit of Wikipedia. Lord of Mann

Thank you for making a report about 76.187.9.84 (talk · contribs · block log) at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. Your report was not a case of obvious vandalism, and as a result, the user has not been blocked and the request may have been removed from the page. Next time please use Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents for reporting a complex abuse or refer to Wikipedia:Resolving disputes if you have a dispute with the user. Thank you. --Tikiwont 16:07, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit war with me over the Lord of Mann article

Thanks for your interest in the accuracy of this article. Rather than simply reverting my edits, please tell me what information I have posted you don't believe is verifiable and reliable? What information is not from a NPOV? Is there not an on-line petition by those that claim to be citizen of the Island to stop Howe from using the title? Does his claim not have a legal evidence to support it? Help me understand your objection to my edits. Thanks. 216.143.251.162 19:33, 7 November 2007 (UTC) You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. --Tikiwont 19:53, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

The Lord of Mann page I have been reverting edits to today has been attacked by two different IP addresses, who both first erased from the page information relating to David Drew Howe's claim, and then later began adding information that did not conform to NPOV and also was not cited with a verifiable source. I've simply been reverting the edits while stating the reasons in the user's talk pages.

Decline reason:

While you may or may not be right about the article, you did violate the 3RR rule. The edits were not vandalism but a content dispute. Please keep working hard and maintain your passion for the project. The block will expire shortly and you'll be back to work.— JodyB Roll, Tide, Roll 21:14, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
