Song |
"Through the Fire and Flames" is the first track from power metal band DragonForce's third album, Inhuman Rampage. The song features a very rapid dual-guitar solo by Herman Li and Sam Totman. During the recording of the song, guitarist Herman Li snapped one of his guitar strings. Despite this, the band decided to keep this recording and left it on the final album version.
Music Video
The track is the first music video by DragonForce. The song was shortened for the video, however. The music video shows the band playing on a darkened stage. Totman can be seen drinking beer during the solo. Also, with the guitar solo featuring Sam Totman and Herman Li, the camera focuses on them and dismisses the band. At the end, it goes back to the entire band playing the chorus. Pictures of all sides the band members are shown. At the very end, the camera zooms away from the band. The music video circulated through YouTube and various music video channels, such as MTV2.
