A skate video is a movie about skateboarding. In a skate video skaters show their skills in sections called video parts. Skate videos are usualy made by skateboarding companies but small skateshops, magazines, websites and independent skaters have made skate videos. Usualy skate videos tend to change skateboarding forever by showcasing tricks that amazes people for years.

Influential Skate Videos

There have been many influential skate videos like Girl Skateboards's Yeah Right, Lakai's Fully Flared, Blind Skateboards's Video Days and more.

Boredom

Usualy in skate videos there are skaters who aren't very good who tend to bore someone. Many videos have one or more special skaters so some people tend to wait for their favorite skater's parts in the video but sometimes the boredom from skaters who aren't very good makes it hard.


Last Part

Getting the last part in a skate video is a very huge honor. usualy skaters who have gotten the last part in a skate video go on to win Thrasher Magazine's Skater of The Year Award like: Chris Cole, Mark Appleyard and most recently Marc Johnson.
