What is the procedure for continued vandalism?

hi Waggers,

I am convalescing in the bath this evening, and am excited by the prospect of exploring how repeated vandalism is coped with in Wikipedia. Are you able to ping me a quick outline of how things would unfold? (assume I am able to compete in the arms race).

I am also curious - were you requested to protect this page, or are you a part time guardian? (Yesterdays edits were not reverted so quickly).

Why revert of Shaw (surname) ?

Cliff Shaw is an existing entry in WP -- not some random name. He was coauthor of some of the earliest papers in Artificial Intelligence with Alan Newell and Nobelist Herbert Simon. The edit summary did name him. You are free to fix your mistaken revert if you wish; I leave it to you. --71.162.82.56 (talk)

Huggle User Category

Hi there. I have seen that you use huggle by the fact that you have automatically updated the huggle white list(it does this when closing huggle). I was wondering if you would add the category [[Category:Wikipedians who use Huggle]] to your user page so that it fills out and we know who actually uses huggle. If you do not want to you do not have to. I am also sorry if i have already talked to you about this or you no longer use huggle but i sent it to everyone that has edited the page since mid January. Huggle Category Problem

Hi there.You are receiving this message from me as you have not added your huggle category correctly. At the moment on category here you can see that you are sorted under the letter U. To fix this please change the [[Category:Wikipedians who use Huggle]] to [[Category:Wikipedians who use Huggle|YOURNICKNAMEHERE]]. This will fix the problem. If you do not change this within a few days then i will do this for you but i would prefer to send you a message like this than just go and change your page. Hi there Waggers, I see you just changed "references/" to reflist. template:reflist says: "Use this template to create a reference list in an article with a small font. Note that there is no consensus that small font size should always be used for all references; when normal-sized font is more appropriate on an article, use references / instead." what is that about

the addition i made to the nails article is perfectly valid and i am unhappy that you marked it as vandalization
