As a child, Pulver won the lead role in an amateur production of the musical '[[Annie]]', which lead her into pursuing a career in [[musical theatre]]. Later at the age of 13, she auditioned for the [[National Youth Music Theatre]], a prestigious youth theatre company sponsored by [[Andrew Lloyd Webber]] and [[The Prince's Trust]]. She appeared in a number of successful productions with the group, before leaving in 1997 to attend full time dance and musical theatre training at the [[Doreen Bird College]] in [[Sidcup]], [[Kent]]. She graduated from the college in 2000 with a first class [[Bachelor of Arts|BA (Honours) Degree]] in Dance & Theatre Performance from the [[University of Greenwich]] and has gone on to have a successful career in [[West End theatre]], national tours and regional theatre productions in the [[United Kingdom]].
