I agree. Half of the info in the article isn't relavent to the programme. For fans of the show I can understand that it is nice to have a collection of information, like songs and detailed character summaries but if you want to find out about the show, it isn't relavent. Firstly, the character summaries are too long, I think maybe there should only be summaries for the main characters. The cast section is irrelavent because the information is already in the characters section. To be honest, the 'running gags and catchphrases' and a list of 'ferb's lines' really aren't relavent. Ferb's lines could be moved to Wikiquote since that is really where quotations should go. [[User:Mouseinthehouse|Mouseinthehouse]] ([[User talk:Mouseinthehouse|talk]]) 16:43, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

== Ages ==

When did they say how old Phineas and Ferb are? It seems very unlikely that Disney Channel, which is aimed to older children, would make the main character eight years old. I'm going to delete the ages because they really don't seem to be provable.

Articles for deletion This article was nominated for deletion on 17 May 2007. The result of the discussion was no consensus.

Please DO NOT remove this show as Disney Channel has officially confirmed that it has gone into production.

-The chronicles

I think that we should remove it until we can actually get some decent information.

"Running Gags"

I got rid of that crap. It's pretty clear it was written by a seven year old, since it used immature vocabulary, boldface, and excess exclamation marks. (24.47.88.195 (talk) 12:17, 26 February 2008 (UTC))[reply]

that was reverted as it seemed as though it was vandalism. before you remove things, get a consensus. or at the very least, put an edit summary. Queerbubbles (talk) 12:19, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Please do not remove any of the running gags unless if you think it needs to be removed. Please remove it if I made an error in adding it again.--Yenaldooshi (talk) 22:07, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It should be there, but needs a bit of clean-up. Malpass93 (talk) 22:51, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I agree.--♥ Yenaldooshi ♥ Benwolf ♥ (talk) 23:34, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I didnt remove anything, I undid the IP's edits because they seemed to be vandalism and had no discussion here. Please do not assume that I removed anything. Queerbubbles (talk) 23:54, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't mean you, I meant the the IP's edits. I did not assume it was you and thanks for reverting it.--♥ Yenaldooshi ♥ Benwolf ♥ (talk) 21:20, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Running Gags" is not someting that needs a whole section for. Maybe a line in trivia like "The show follows a similar format in almost every episode" or something would be fine, but this article is going crapshit because of running gags. (24.47.88.195 (talk) 15:29, 29 February 2008 (UTC))[reply]
Hey! I wrote Running Gags! Any ways...I don't think you should use that type of language Mr. "I'm So Cool that I laugh at something a Seven year old does". The C-word is nothing to joke about. Please do not use that Language. --Obaidz96 (talk) 00:16, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Crap isn't a bad word. Shit is, though. Just shows you're a seven year old. (24.47.88.195 (talk) 13:08, 1 March 2008 (UTC))[reply]

Quotes

Should we list some Quotes from the show? i know one of them is:

Candace: You are going DOWN! *continues repeating this until it completely fades out* Phineas: We're gonna need a blow torch, and some more peanut butter...

Quote sections are strongly discouraged on Wikipedia. Also, please put down your signature. 24.47.88.195 (talk) 20:30, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Closer to prohibited. That is what wikiquote http://en.wikiquote.org/ is for. Start a page there for this show and put the quotes there. --NrDg 20:40, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cast

IMDB lists Thomas Sangster as Ferb. Same is stated in the article cited in sources. I've changed the cast listing accordingly. That was me. if anyone cares :) Dmitriid 06:13, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

DOESN'T MAKE SENSE

A sneak peek of the series will air on August 17, 2007, after High School Musical 2. It was confirmed by Popstar! magazine.

WHY WOULD THEY show this now, and not WIZARDS OF WAVELRY PLACE, which airs in October, not January?

Why do they have a character named Isabella?! It's ALREADY the 5th most popular baby name of 2007 in the U.S. and now this show has to go with this craze and steal the name TOO? Where's the originality?! - Isabella

The main characters are named Phineas and Ferb, ease up, haha :P.

They showed it to make more people want to watch when it officialy premiers in January.75.67.128.65 15:41, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have sources but...

Okay I have this source but it's an official document by Disney and it's on microsoft and I have no idea how to put that as a source. If you [click here|http://www.disneychannelmedianet.com/Web/homepage/HomePage.aspx] and scroll down until you see a picture, and an article title saying "DISNEY CHANNELS AROUND THE WORLD TO PREMIERE ORIGINAL ANIMATED COMEDY SERIES "PHINEAS AND FERB" IN MONTH-LONG PROGRAMMING EVENT, 'PHINEAS AND FERB-RUARY'". You clikc on the line that says "Press" and a document should open up. That confirms the 3.3 million viewers who watched the second sneak-peak and that the show will premiere February 1. Snoborder93 23:38, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The url you get when you click on "Press" is http://www.disneychannelmedianet.com/DNR/2007/doc/SeriesLaunchrelease2.doc. It is a real good reference - you did good finding it. --NrDg 03:34, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dr. Doofenshmirtz

Do you think that Dr. Doofenshmurtz is Phineas's biological father? They sprt of look alike...--98.27.191.3 (talk) 02:57, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And I'm sure being drawn by the same artist has nothing to do with it. QAE 00:59, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Should we change the picture from the title screen to the logo with a white or a transparent background?

Characters page

Shouldn't someone put up a "List of Phineas and Ferb Characters" page? Bluecatcinema (talk) 12:28, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The characters are pretty well covered in the synopsis section. Tenk you veddy much. --Wack'd Talk to me!Admire my handiwork! 12:20, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

well, I have to say the current characters page needs revising. It has a lot of POV'd statements, but at least it is mostly accurate--76.24.190.218 (talk) 01:52, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

When were the character's last names revieled?

See headline. Tenk you veddy much. --Wack'd Talk to me!Admire my handiwork! 20:20, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Who Knows? Possibly rumours (English spelling)? Malpass93 (talk) 12:29, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Whatcha Doin'?

On the show the Suite Life of Zack and Cody I have heard London use Isabella's catchphrase, " twice, in the exact same manner that Isabella says it. Is this noteworthy? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.184.243.179 (talk) 01:13, 25 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's WP:OR, unless somewhere else (that is notable) has already made the comparison. Epass (talk) 23:07, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Images?

Should we put up any images, such as images of the characters?--Yenaldooshi (talk) 22:50, 25 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yep! Make sure that it follows the rules, though. QAE 01:01, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bajleet!

I think that this line from Bajleet should be removed "1% interesting anyways." It is a little un-neutral. It is an Opinion. And that Shouldn't be there. I am Removing. Any complaints should be posted on my Talk Page. Please and Thank You. --Obaidz96 (talk) 00:22, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup

This article could use a clean up. Songs are in the running gags section, some of the trivia is disputable, and flow could be improved. Suggestions? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mr Kupo (talkcontribs) 01:34, 19 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
