Mortal Kombat (MK) 8 (working title) is an upcoming scheduled release from Midway Games in the Mortal Kombat series. It is expected to follow the events of Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. Epic Games reports that the game is using their Unreal Engine 3 and is being developed for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.[1]
According to an interview with Ed Boon, many new fighters will be introduced, and only few "old" characters will return.
