:: With all due respect, adding "Roman" in front of "Catholic Church" is not an invention of the protestants, as you've stated. This is a schism that happened almost one thousand years ago. And our Catholic church is called Roman because our Pope lives in Rome making Rome the epicenter. Three Revert Rule

Warning
Warning

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly, as you are doing at Roman Catholic Church. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. In addition, please remain civil; referring to other editors as 'heretics' is inappropriate. TSP (talk) 16:01, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

With all due respect, adding "Roman" in front of "Catholic Church" is not an invention of the protestants, as you've stated. Its purpose is to differentiate the Roman Catholic Church from the Eastern Orthodox Church[1]. This is a schism that happened almost one thousand years ago. And our Catholic church is called Roman because our Pope lives in Rome making Rome the epicenter. There is no need to see the word Roman as being a slight to your Catholicism, no matter where you live. Affinity likely •Hello• 16:24, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
