Galaxy 3C236 (also called 3C 236 North) is the largest and most powerful radio source currently known to mankind. Called a radio lobe, it is located in the constellation Leo Minor. Galaxy 3C326 is thought to be stealing the energy equivalent of one billion suns from its neighbor, Galaxy 3C 236 South. The relativistic jets of energy from the center of this galaxy, are more than 40 million light-years across. These jets are thought to be electrons traveling at almost the speed of light. A supermassive black hole at the center of the galaxy is thought to be the source of these energetic jets.
