Tracee Ellis Ross (born October 29, 1972 as Tracee Joy Silberstein) is an American biracial actress. She is daughter to singer Diana Ross, and the half-sister of actress Rhonda Ross Kendrick.

With roles and appearances on television and film, Ross is a graduate of Brown University (like her half-sister Rhonda) and is currently most recognized for her role as Joan Clayton on the UPN sitcom, Girlfriends. She was an character feature on the Lyricist Lounge Show on MTV.
