Ali Ashfaq (born on September 6, 1985) is a Maldivian footballer nicknamed "Dhagan'dey" (Man of Steel), who has played as a forward for Club Valencia and New Radiant. He is also a member of the Maldives national football team and has won numerous Maldivian football awards. He is known for his dribbling ability and powerful shooting as well as accuracy in passing. Ashfaq is considered to be the best forward for the Maldivian National Team.
On October 2007,he moved to DPMM FC in Brunei with fellow national team striker Ibrahim Fazeel. In 2008 transferred from DPMM FC to VB Sports Club for US$10,000 on a five year deal.
Ashfaq was names as player of the tournament in SAFF Championship 2008, where Maldives won their first Saff Championship title.
