We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story is an animated film, produced by Steven Spielberg's Amblimation animation studio, distributed by Universal Pictures, and originally released in movie theatres by 1993. It was loosely based on a children's book entitled simply, We're Back!, which was narrated from the perspective of the main character, a Tyrannosaurus rex named Rex.
