Rory Patterson (born 16 July 1984 in Strabane, Ireland) is an Irish footballer. He plays as a forward for Northern Premier League Premier Division team Bradford Park Avenue, having previously played professionally for Rochdale A.F.C. and F.C. United of Manchester.
Career
Trials
Rory Patterson has had trials at many of Britain's a-list clubs such as; Everton, Newcastle, Charlton and Celtic.[citation needed] He has also had a trial with Football League Two club Peterborough when he was 11.[citation needed]
F.C. United
Rory Patterson then signed for F.C. United of Manchester, and made 126 appearances and scoring 107 goals for the club in all competition.
Bradford Park Avenue
After much transfer speculation, Patterson signed for Bradford Park Avenue in July 2008 along with his ex-FC Utd strike partner, Stuart Rudd.
