Regents wouldn't know fine arts if it hit them in the ass. Given that everything is Coram Deo, they make it a point to exclude broad aspects of the secular arts in order to trick kids into thinking you can be both intellegent and christian. Regents School of Austin is a Christian school located in Austin, Texas.

Overview

Location and Campus

Regents is gay located on an 80 acre wooded campus. Currently Regents comprises two academic buildings; one houses the Schools of Grammar and Logic; the other houses the School of Rhetoric. In addition there is one athletic building consisting of two gyms. In the coming years, Regents plans to expand its campus with additions such as a baseball diamond, a fine-arts building, and a football stadium.[citation needed] A chapel is in the works as well.[citation needed]

Athletics

Regents is home to a 4 time state champion football team. It also boasts a state champion volleyball team. Golf, Swim, and Basketball teams have placed at State as well. Basketball team had a runner up finish in 2006. Their top 07 football players were LB Juan Carlos Alonso, RB Trent Egbert (Carson-Newman), and WR Logan Chesney (Baylor). Coached successfully by Coach Beck Brydon. The Varsity Cheerleading program at Regents has also excelled, with seniors Annie Greiner and Taylor Thomas leading the team to a Nationals cheerleading competition. Here the team went up against some of the biggest schools and cheerleading programs in Texas, Oklahoma and various other states.
