In his hometown (Grimsby) there used to be lots of fish, but they have all been fished out since.

Darren John Pattinson (born August 2, 1978, Grimsby) is an England born Australian cricket player who currently plays for the Victorian Bushrangers domestic team. His debut was against Queensland at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. He signed a two year contract to play for Nottinghamshire in 2008. In his debut against Kent on April 16th he took 5-22 in the first innings. Since his debut his fine form continued as he took 6-30 against Lancashire at Trent Bridge.

On July 3rd he was named in the England 30-Man Squad for the ICC Champions Trophy.
