The edit you reverted was not vandalism. It was a contribution by a user who has been banned from editing. Please see this report for details. Thanks Papa November (talk) 11:26, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
- It was here yesterday if i'm not wrong so i thought someone made the image smaller to vandalise. Can i do the edit he did? Because Coates is a nice idea for the image. And how a banned user could do edits?
- Hi there, in response to your questions:
- It's fine if you want to add the information - explain why it's useful in the edit summary, don't mark it as reverting vandalism
- The banned user made the edits from an IP address he hadn't used before to get around the block.
- You sign a post by putting ~~~~ at the end. Papa November (talk) 11:48, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
- Hi there, in response to your questions:
Hi there,
Thanks for your comments on the collage. In response:
- I agree entirely that Yuri Gagarin should be there. I only removed his image because its copyright status is not entirely certain. If we can find one that is unquestionably free, then we should use that.
- Admins aren't allowed to protect articles unless there is heavy vandalism from new or unregistered users, or an edit war is in progress. However, I'll keep a close watch, and if there's any sign of edit warring or IP vandalism I'll protect it immediately.
- I only removed the third row because there were image copyright problems. I'll fix the image now. Papa November (talk) 17:06, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
I've left a note at Talk:Russians as there are some licensing issues with the two remaining photos. I know it's frustrating, but we'll get the image sorted out eventually! Papa November (talk) 17:58, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
- I've had a quick look at the Korolev images you found. The first one is probably OK. Please could you translate the Russian text under the image for me?
- For technical reasons, the collage can't be moved to Commons. However, most of the individual images are already there, so the source code for the collage can just be copied and pasted to other wikis as required. Papa November (talk) 13:27, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
OK, it's finished. We still don't know for sure about the Shanina image, but we can replace it later if it turns out to be copyrighted in the US. Papa November (talk) 15:01, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
Thanks!
:) Papa November (talk) 17:31, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
I'd second Papa November's notion of thanks, this time in your kind words on the Thumb wrestling talk page. --Slyder Pilot 15:54, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
- I'm surprised that others havent told that to Rkwalton, he allows himself to much. Log in, log out (talk) 16:21, 29 June 2008 (UTC)

- Thank you, i couldn't think of a nickname and then i remembered the song of the band Bush, Machine Head, which had the line "Breath in, breath out", so i thought "Log in, log out. Log in, log out (talk) 10:17, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
Please read up on what constitutes a reliable source. This matter has been discussed thoroughly in the article's talk page and on a related articles for deletion page. Slyder Pilot was part of creating this particular hoax, and he renews his efforts from time to time to perpetuate it. He'll end up blocked and banned if he continues. Try harder. --Captain Obvious and his crime-fighting dog (talk) 18:21, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
- As you can see all but you oppose deleting the section. I would tell you try harder but if youll try harder you'll simply be blocked. Log in, log out (talk) 18:31, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
Captain Obvious
Since you prob. will encounter him a lot on wikipedia you can find his life history here:[1], there is also a great picture of him on the net:[2]. His comment above is hilarious! Mariah-Yulia (talk) 22:19, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
- Hey there, it's better to just to ignore off-topic discussions. Don't feed the trolls! ;) Let's see what comes of this discussion, and see if we can find a solution that everyone's happy with. Papa November (talk) 10:33, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
- Sure thing, but the best way to deal with fanatics is by simply ignoring any irrelevant rants, and insisting on calm, rational discussions only! Papa November (talk) 10:39, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
Hi I noticed you had problems with that user, why not back me up here: [3]. Also please keep an eye on that article look what he and his meat puppet are doing there.--Kuban Cossack 08:22, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

- Thank you for allowing to use your templates. I wanted to learn to play Russian guitar but today most play the 6-string and i couldn't find a teacher. How did you learn? Moscovite Knight (talk) 13:55, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
- That's not a problem. If you have a Russian guitar, just prints chords and songs from the internet. Before you notice you know the chords by-heart and you play well. Log in, log out (talk) 13:57, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

National Bolshevism
Thank you for the Russian guitar learning site. I came on another topic. I'm a National Bolshevik to, and if you'll allow me i'll still that template to. I wanted to ask you if there are many National Bolsheviks Here? Is there a WikiProject for it? Moscovite Knight (talk) 12:41, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
- I dont know if there are many, but i dont offer you to put it here. After i have puted it, i was by mistake taken as some other user who once was here, and was a National Bolshevik, and was blocked. How do you know they wont take you as him? I dont know about National Bolsheviks here but i got the impression there's a mini witch-hunt on them. If you want, take it, but i wouldn't offer it. Log in, log out (talk) 12:44, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
- I understand. I will put it anyway, thank you. It's bad there ain't much of us here. Moscovite Knight (talk) 12:46, 5 July 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. I know you acted in good faith, and don't see any actual need to template you, but it's just a friendly warning and I don't mean for you to take any offence. ...... Dendodge ..
