No problem. I think that GABA is primarily involved in the transition state between sleep and wakefulness and also helps achieve muscle atonia during REM sleep. I don't have any references to hand though.

Hi DavidWestlake,

I consolidated the GABA addition with the previously present GABA entry. I'm not familiar with the literature stating that GABA is involved in sleep/wake, so that part got removed, but if you want to add it back with a reference, that'd be great.
