Hello, I am a postdoctoral researcher at UCSF working on genetics and proteomics of homeostatic synaptic plasticity in the fruit fly. I got my Ph.D. at UCSD in Neurosciences studying long-term and short-term synaptic plasticity in the somatosensory cortex (specifically presynaptic NMDA receptors and their control of neurotransmitter release). I have also done some work on serotonin and it's role in regulating the excitability of neurons in the medial vestibular nucleus.

Undergraduate research: Dr. Rob Gereau IV, Baylor College of Medicine (now at Washington University).

Thesis lab: Dr. Dan Feldman, UCSD (now at UC Berkeley).

Postdoctoral lab #1: Dr. Sascha du Lac, Salk Institute.

Postdoctoral lab #2: Dr. Graeme Davis, UCSF.
