Bedford–Nostrand Avenues is a station on the IND Crosstown Line of the New York City Subway. It has a full-length mezzanine with a crossover. The north exit leads to Nostrand Avenue, with two open and two closed street stairways. The south exit leads to Bedford Avenue, with four street stairways. The middle track is not used in revenue service and was meant for a planned system expansion, which was not built. North of the station the middle track splits into two and diverges under the main tracks before they turn west. They are used for train storage, although they are not normally used for that purpose.
