Lorelei Rox is a fictional character from the comic book The Spirit, by writer-artist Will Eisner. She only appeared in The Spirit one time in September 1948. Although only appearing in one story, the tale of Lorelei Rox was one of the most memorable appearances of a femme fatale. Singing a hypnotic song that mesmorizes her victims, this statesque woman almost caused The Spirit to come to grief.

The feature film The Spirit, written and directed by comic book writer/artist Frank Miller, is scheduled for release by Lionsgate on January 19, 2009.[1] Jaime King is cast as Lorelei Rox, "The Angel of Death" whose mysterious song lures men into the sea, never to be seen again.
