The Angolan Girdled Lizard (Cordylus angolensis), also known as the Angolan Spiny-tailed Lizard,[1] is a lizard in the genus Cordylus. It lives in Africa.[2] It is ovoviviparous.[3] Its name comes from Angola, one of the countries it inhabits.[3]
Distribution
The Angolan Girdled Lizard lives in Angola,[2] as well as Namibia and Zaire.[4]
Breeding
This lizard is ovoviviparous,[3] meaning mothers keep eggs inside their bodies until the eggs are ready to hatch.
Name
The Angolan Girdled Lizard gets its name from Angola.[3]
