Thanke for your comment. What about the notability criteria of making a "unique contribution to a field of entertainment"? Don't all his show listings prove that Chris Musni is making a unique contribution to stand-up comedy in Hong Kong?[[Special:Contributions/116.48.49.113|116.48.49.113]] ([[User talk:116.48.49.113|talk]]) 00:54, 9 September 2008 (UTC)

Allegations of apartheid deletion notification

Some time ago, you participated in a deletion discussion concerning Allegations of Chinese apartheid. I thought you might like to know that the parent article, Allegations of apartheid, was recently nominated for deletion. Given that many of the issues that have been raised are essentially the same as those on the article on which you commented earlier, you may have a view on whether Allegations of apartheid should be kept or deleted. If you wish to contribute to the discussion, please see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Allegations of apartheid (fifth nomination). -- ChrisO (talk) 17:42, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Talk page discussion

Hi dude! Sorry to bother you but I was hoping you could come to the Talk:Nanyue and maybe (Talk:Cantonese people) page to provide some discussion with some users. Here is what was going on. It seemed like some anonymous users and User:David873 in the Talk:Nanyue were having a sort of heated discussion with other anonymous users. Basically they are debating about the claims of the Vietnamese relationship with Cantonese people (User:David873 is saying Vietnamese and Vietnamese language is way more similar to Cantonese than Chinese people and language...etc.) It got pretty heated, and accusation of sockpuppetry of these anonymous users starts to get going and so forth... Now that the talk page is protected, its pretty much calm down now. But could you come to the talk page and sound off and help with the discussion. Be civil. And if you could ask other editors to also comment on this, that would be great. Thanks!--Balthazarduju (talk) 16:42, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is even more of an urgency now, given that the semi-protection status has just expired at Talk:Nanyue, Talk:Guangdong and Talk:Cantonese people. There is a high risk that IP spamming and vandalism will resume at those talk pages in the following week or so and possibly spread to even more Wikipedia pages. So please, do not take this lightly.
