V.J. and Angela Skutt Catholic High School, located in Omaha, Nebraska, USA, is a Catholic high school established in 1993. It was named in honor of V.J. and Angela Skutt, a well-known entrepreneurial family in Omaha and large donor toward the school's construction. The school has a 1:16 teacher-student ratio.[1] It is located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Omaha.

Sports, clubs, and traditions

Every year the school hosts an "Angel Flight", which is a fundraising event. The school holds an All-Alumni Weekend for two days every July. They also host a Mr. SkyHawk Pageant. This is comical event that pokes fun at beauty pageants. Some others are Hawktober, Powder Puff Football, Popsicle Day, and Morp (Sadie Hawkins Dance).

Drama

In 2007 Skutt Catholic put on the broadway musical Beauty and the Beast as their winter musical. The Fall One-Act was Flowers for Algernon. The 2007 Spring play was Rebecca. The Skutt Music and Drama departments performed High School Musical in late February 2008. Also, in 2008 SCHS performed The Philadelphia Story starring well known senior Andrew Nowak.
