Politics

If you looked me up because a page you created was deleted, you might think I'm a deletionist... if you looked me up because I helped to rescue your article at AfD or expanded your article for creation you might think I'm an inclusionist. Neither are actually true. I just try my best to help by upholding the community endorsed guidelines and official policies of the wikipedia project. I help the project by patrolling new pages for vandalism and spam, I review articles at Articles for Creation and I offer my thoughts at AfD debates. A big personal project is alerting new users to the need for third party references. I try to be as fair as I can be, but I'm sure that if we don't see eye to eye I can ruffle your feathers. For that I apologize in advance and hope you understand that it's very important to stay civil and try to reach an understanding. There are a lot of cooks in this kitchen and we all have different recipes.

PSA Most articles come to AfD due to poor sourcing! Sourcing can save articles. Before you write an article make sure it has citations to back it up.

Closing AfDs There is currently and usually always a backlog of AfD discussions. If you would like help having an AfD closed, and you feel it meets the criteria for a non-admin closure I will gladly take a look and see if it's appropriate. I will most likely not close a debate that I have been a party to and it is against policy for non-admins to close articles with a consensus of delete, no matter how much WP:SNOW is falling.

Collectonian and Lord S are AfD'ing an article from DBZ again
